Simple Tuner is designed to do one thing well, with no strings attached to your data. This policy explains what the app does and doesn't do with your information.

The short version

Simple Tuner does not collect, store, or share any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no trackers, and no ads.

Microphone

To work as a tuner, the app needs access to your device's microphone. Audio is processed live, on your device, purely to detect the pitch you're playing.

• Audio is never recorded to a file.
• Audio is never stored after it has been analyzed.
• Audio is never transmitted off your device or to us or any third party.

You can grant or revoke microphone access at any time in Settings → Simple Tuner → Microphone. Without it, the tuner cannot detect pitch.

Data we store

The only thing the app saves is your favorite scales, which are kept locally on your device so they're there next time you open the app. This stays on your device and is removed if you delete the app.

Third parties

Simple Tuner contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. Nothing about your usage is sent anywhere.

Children

The app does not collect any data from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.

Your choices

Because Simple Tuner collects no personal data, there is nothing to access, export, or delete. You can revoke microphone access at any time in Settings → Simple Tuner → Microphone, and deleting the app removes your locally-stored favorites.
